Georgian Foreign Ministry's delegation led by Deputy Minister David Jalagania is on a working visit to Thailand.
A meeting was held with Deputy Foreign Minister of Thailand Jullapong Nonsrichai and other officials, Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The two sides discussed various current issues concerning bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Thailand, including the prospect of enhancing economic relations and possible measures to promote people-to-people contacts, as well as prospects for cooperation with the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) in various spheres.
The two sides agreed to exchange high-level visits in the nearest future and work on development of the legal basis for cooperation between the two countries.
The Thai delegation also reaffirmed its government's unequivocal support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
