The Georgia will make a protest against the installation of barbed wire on the administrative border between Georgia and South Ossetia by Russian border guards at the next Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting in Ergneti on Monday, Georgian MIA announced.
The 32nd meeting of the framework of incident prevention and response mechanism will take place in the village of Ergneti on Monday.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Georgian side is going to discuss the problems of the local population that have emerged due to the installation of barbed wire which in a number of cases, is situated on lands owned by farmers.
Recovery of the damaged drainage system in the Akhalgori district and release of Georgian citizens from Tskhinvali prison will also be considered during the meeting.
