Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze to visit the Netherlands on March 24-26, Georgian Foreign Ministry declared on Sunday.

Within the visit the head of foreign policy department will meet the Netherlands colleague and discuss the wide range of questions of the bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as the main directions of the Euro-Atlantic integration, said deputy minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani.

Maya Pandzhikidze's speech before representatives of governmental and non-governmental circles on the planned reforms in Georgia is scheduled during the visit.

The opening of honorary consulates in the Hague and Rotterdam with the participation of the minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia is also scheduled..

"The minister will meet with Georgian diplomats in Europe governments on March 24 in the Hague. As you know, we have no ambassadors in the leading European countries and the US, so we had to resort to this form. The diplomats in the Hague will get the instructions from the minister," noted the deputy minister.

"In spite of the fact that the president and parliamentary minority call the people on the street to support the foreign policy of the country, Mikheil Saakashvili does not sign the decree about the appointment of ambassadors, and this fact disturbs our full work", said Zalkaliani.
