Georgia, Tbilisi, Aug. 23 /Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/
Georgian non-governmental organization (NGO) Free Georgia declared about the resignation of country's prosecutor general Archil Kbilashvili.
"This issue was agreed with the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili, and an official announcement will be made next Monday," the NGOs statement said on Friday.
This information is untrue, and Kbilashvili just went on vacation for a week, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told Trend on Friday.
Both the representatives of the former government and Kbilashvili's colleagues in the ruling Georgian Dream coalition express their dissatisfaction with his work.
The former claim that the prosecutor unreasonably detains country's former top officials, while the latter are unhappy that the prosecutor is unable to restore justice in the country.
