A meeting of the heads of Georgia's diplomatic missions abroad will be held in Tbilisi from September 2 to September 4 and opened by the country's Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze.
Georgia's Foreign Minister will present a report on the work of the diplomatic service the country's Foreign Ministry said. Panjikidze will also speak about Georgia's foreign policy priorities and main directions of future activity.
Georgia's Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and the representatives of executive and legislative bodies of the country will participate at the opening of the ambassadorial meeting. In addition, representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and Secretary General of GUAM also received invitations for participation at the event.
The ambassadorial meeting delegates will discuss main issues of Georgia's foreign policy and the challenges faced by the country's diplomacy during the three day meeting.
