A strong earthquake occurred in Georgia on Tuesday morning. According to the Seismological Monitoring Centre at the University of Elijah, it was a 5.3 magnitude quake in Kvareli (Kakheti, eastern Georgia).
The epicentre was a few kilometres from Kvareli. The earthquake occurred at 8:08 a.m.
There was no information about any damage or casualties. Tremors were felt in Azerbaijan near the border.
