Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept. 20 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
Pupils and staff at another Tbilisi school are being evacuated.
According to Tbilisi police, the evacuation took place after a phone call to the 112 emergency service. The caller said there was a bomb at school No 24.
The school building has been cordoned off by police and is awaiting bomb disposal sappers.
Earlier, a general evacuation was announced at schools No 53 and No 21 in Tbilisi on Friday morning.
The police revealed that minors were involved in these hoax calls.
The Georgian Parliament has adopted amendments to the legislation in the first reading toughening penalties for hoax bomb calls. Around 17 false calls reports have been made in Georgia during the last two weeks.
