Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili starts his official visit to the Baltic countries and Belarus.
During the visit, Irakli Garibashvili held a meeting with Latvian Interior Minister Richard Kozlovsky.
The Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend today that at a joint declaration on "Implementation of the necessary procedures for the agreement on cooperation in the field of emergency prevention and response" was signed at the meeting.
The meetings will be held at the Latvian Defense Ministry. The protocol on "Amendments to the agreement on the protection of secret information between the Georgian and Latvian governments" will be signed there.
Garibashvili also met with head of the Latvian State Police Ints Kuzis. The sides discussed bilateral cooperation and future plans.
