Delegation of the National Security Service of Armenia led by the commander of the border troops, Major-General Armen Aramian arrives in Tbilisi for three-day visit.
The visit was by the invitation of the Georgian side and has familiarization character,
Georgian Border Police told Trend.
During the visit, the Armenian delegation met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri.
Director of the Border Police, Colonel Koba Botchorishvili along with other officials received colleagues.
At the meeting, the sides signed a joint action plan on border issues in 2014. Also discussed was the situation in the Georgian-Armenian border, an exchange of experiences. The Georgian side made a presentation of the Border Police.
The visit of the Armenian delegation will end on September 26.
