A cargo ship under the flag of Cambodia was detained upon marine pollution. According to the border police, "ERNA" cargo ship was arrested in the outer harbor of Batumi port.
The ship's captain, a citizen of Russia, was fined 65,000 lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) according to the seventh part of Article 58 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
He is also required to reimburse the environmental damage in the amount of 3300 lari.
