Georgia's biggest challenge is the achievement of an agreement between politicians, otherwise they will not to move forward, Speaker of the Seimas (parliament) of Lithuania, Loreta Grauziniene said during the final part of an international parliamentary conference in Tbilisi.
"I believe that the biggest challenge is the achievement of an agreement between politicians, otherwise they will not be able to move forward. Politics is a compromise, and because of that we are politicians, to find this compromise. Lithuanians are very worried about the Georgians, they want to see a European Georgia. Politicians must find a compromise and put aside their ambitions, to leave a European country for future generations," Grauziniene said.
At the end of the conference the chairman of Lithuanian Seimas presented a tie to the Chairman of Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili, as a sign that Georgia will surely become a member of the European Union.
