An earthquake measuring 5.3 points was recorded in Georgia on Thursday morning. It struck along the Georgian-Russian border, the Seismological Monitoring Centre at the University of Elijah told Trend.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located near the city of Kvareli of Kakheti region (Eastern Georgia). No damage or victims reported.
Tremors were felt also in Russia and Armenia.
