Tbilisi, Georgia, Dec.3
By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

Some 15,000 subscribers were left without gas in Tbilisi on Dec.3 due to an accident on the city's gas pipeline.

The pipeline was damaged by a fallen tree, the Tbilisi Emergency Service told Trend.

As a result, the gas began to flow under strong pressure. Children and employees of a kindergarten located near the damaged gas pipeline were immediately evacuated.

An emergency team arrived at the scene. However, it is still unknown when the gas transmission will be resumed.

Hurricane winds caused troubles to the bus passengers with Turkish tourists in western Georgia. A half-ton block fell on the bus on the Rikoti pass, as a result of which two Turkish tourists were injured and were rushed to hospital. Their life is not threatened.

The bad weather will continue till Dec.5.
