Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze met with Director of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Janusz Lenarcic and OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors as part of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Kiev.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend today that Georgia's cooperation with the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights was discussed at a meeting with Lenarcic.

Lenarcic stressed Georgia's progress on its way to democracy.

"In the near future, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights will make its conclusion on Georgia's recent presidential election," Lenarcic said. "Besides the estimates, it will contain specific recommendations."

Pandzhikidze's meeting with Astrid Thors was introductory. Thors replaced OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek in his position.

Pandzhikidze also met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara.
