Georgian consulates will open in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja and the German city of Frankfurt.
"A decision to open the consulates in these cities has been taken," the Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday. "Certain procedures must be held."
Mamuka Blavadze was appointed Consul in Ganja.
As for Frankfurt, the Georgian Foreign Ministry expects the relevant documents from the German side. Afterwards, a consul will be appointed.
Georgia's consulates in Frankfurt and Ganja will open in the near future.
Ganja is the second largest city in Azerbaijan and located in the west of the country, 345 kilometres from Baku.
