During her visit to Spain, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation José Manuel García - Margalit signed an agreement on 'The exchange of classified information and two-way protection'.

The agreement envisages the exchange of classified information as part of the military and operative investigative bilateral cooperation of the Georgian and Spanish relevant ministries, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry reported that the Interior Ministry will control the implementation of the agreement from the Georgian side.
