Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with the head of the Turkish Calik Holding Ahmet Calık.

The meeting was held in the Georgian Prime Minister's office. The Partnership Fund head Irakli Kovzanadze and the Co-investment Foundation head Giorgi Bachiashvili attended the meeting.

The sides discussed both countries' cooperation issues in different areas.

Garibashvili thanked Calık for the investments in Georgia's economy and expressed the hope that the company will further expand its activity in the country.

The opening ceremony of the large thermal power plant construction has been recently held in Georgia. Turkish Calik Enerji company, included in Calik Holding, is involved in the construction.
