Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Yangland will pay an official visit to Georgia on Feb.6.

The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani said at a press conference on Jan.27 that the main purpose of the visit is the official presentation of the Council of Europe's action plan with regard to Georgia.

The document will envisage the projects which the Council of Europe plans to implement in Georgia in 2013-2015 aimed at cooperating with Georgian government in the sphere of human rights, the rule of law and democracy.

During the visit Thorbjorn Yangland's will meet with senor representatives of Georgian government.
