"Caspskiy" canned food factory (Eastern Georgia) will begin exporting products to Russia and Kazakhstan late February.

Relevant agreements have been prepared with these countries and the plant is preparing to export products to new markets, the company's director, Tamaz Merabishvili told reporters on Feb. 22.

"The first stage of export will be of a cognitive nature. We will offer Russian and Kazakh consumers a wide range of products. As a result of the realization, we will evaluate the situation and by the end of March we will know for sure exactly what products, in what quantity and periodicity to deliver," he said.

Russia became interested in this factory's products at the end of 2013. The company produces tkemali sauce, ajika, jams. Most of the products are exported to USA, Germany and Ukraine.
