The U.S. State Department has published the 2014 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR)

The report is annually submitted to Congress and contains information about the activities and efforts of states and governments in fighting against drug trafficking.

Georgia's current government which came to power in 2012 gives priority to drug control and the volume of drugs seized by the country's law enforcement agencies throughout 2013 is evidence of this, according to the report.

The State Department also emphasises that by 2013, the Georgian government increased the funding of treatment associated with drug addiction, as well as preventive measures. Regarding the fight against corruption, the report stated that the Georgian government successfully continues on course which is to fight against corruption in law enforcement agencies.
