By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

Georgian President Georgi Margvelashvili spoke at the international conference on cyber security in Tallinn and focused on the incident of including Georgia`s breakaway region, Abkhazia into the list of independent states by Google Voice communication service systems.

Large scale military action was launched in South Ossetia on August 8, 2008. Later, Russian troops occupied Tskhinvali and expelled the Georgian military.

Russia recognized the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in late August. In response, Tbilisi ended diplomatic relations with Moscow and has called the two unrecognized republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia occupied territories.

Along with the violation of Georgia`s territorial integrity, the country`s security was also endangered in digital sphere, the president said.

"Now, when we search for Abkhazia in Google among the independent countries, this is a problem. This violates the thing that we call identity, " Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili announced.

The President is on a working visit to Estonia on the invitation of the Estonian President.
