Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili personally received his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul in Tbilisi. Margvelashvili and Gul walked along the streets of Tbilisi, Rustaveli Avenue and the old town, the Georgian presidential administration told Trend on May 6.

President Gul thanked his Georgian counterpart for a walk and a warm reception.

The unofficial part of the Turkish leader's visit ended.

"Tbilisi Summit 2014" will be held on May 6. The presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will attend it. President Aliyev will arrive in Tbilisi on May 6.

The economic, energy and transport issues will be discussed during the summit.

The Turkish president's official visit will begin on May 7. The wreaths will be laid at the memorial to those who died for the territorial integrity.

Then he will meet with the Georgian president and Prime Minister.
