French President Francois Hollande will take part in the presentation of the new elevated tramway in Chiatura (city of miners in the western Georgia) to be held on May 13,
Deputy Administration Head of the city, Valery Kapanadze told journalists.
French President's visit to Georgia will be held on May 13.
The construction of aerial tramway will be started immediately after the presentation, he said.
However, firstly, the old elevated tramway which served for over 50 years will be dismantled.
The construction of the elevated tramway car will be carried out by the French "Poma" company which would invest 14 million euros in the project.
