The Tbilisi City Court declared a verdict in Georgian former First Deputy Interior Minister Gela Khvedelidze's case on May 14. He was sentenced to one year imprisonment.

The process was closed, but later Khvedelidze's lawyer Emar Paksadze told the media about the court verdict.

Khvedelidze is charged under Article 157, the third part of the Georgian criminal code, -disclosure of personal information.

He had posted a video of ​​journalist Giorgi Paresashvili's intimate life in Internet.
