Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania said that negotiations are conducted on the country`s security and defense armaments with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization members.

"As regard to defensive potential and defense arming, it is absolutely true that NATO`s armament is the armament of the alliance countries. On this basis, when we talk about the possibilities of NATO, we say that the issue of defense armament should be solved through bilateral negotiations with the countries of the alliance, that have these weapons - whether it is air defense systems, or other necessary weapons for us . Here I will add that the ongoing negotiations in this regard - I will not specify with whom and how - are successful, " the minister said.
