Hungarian diplomat Janos Herman will head the EU Delegation to Georgia.
The corresponding decision was made by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, EU Delegation to Georgia said on June 26.
Herman will replace Philip Dimitrov in this post.
Janos Herman has been EU Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Norway since 2009. He occupied a variety of roles within Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
