Georgian parliament will hold committee hearings on ratification of the association agreement with the European Union (EU) on July 17, the country's Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told reporters.

"All the issues that are of interest for the MPs will be discussed during the hearings. My report will be of a political nature," Panjikidze said, adding that she will be the keynote speaker during the hearings.

She underscored that European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Stefan Fule will visit Georgia to take part in the solemn part of the ratification ceremony and will make a speech at a plenary meeting.

Panjikidze went on to add that Bulgarian and Latvian foreign ministers will also participate in the ratification ceremony.
