The Georgian Prosecutor's Office formally charged ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili on July 29.
The ex-president's lawyer Otar Kahidze attended a court session when an indictment was announced.
The prosecutor's office will appeal to the court for a preventive measure in the form of arrest for Saakashvili on July 29.
The same procedures will be carried out in respect of David Kezerashvili, Zurab Adeishvili, who are currently outside of Georgia.
Jailed Georgian ex-Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili and ex-Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava, have been already charged.
The indictment against Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili was made upon Part 3, Article 333 of the Georgian Criminal Code (exceeding authority).
Georgian ex-president is accused of illegal dispersal of the peaceful rally on November 7, 2007, appropriation of "Imedi" TV company and misappropriation of businessman Badri Patarkatsishvili's property.
Saakashvili is accused of exceeding his authority on these three cases, the Georgian prosecutor's office said, adding that some more cases involving Saakashvili also exist, and they are being reviewed.
The prosecutor's office previously said all the crimes were committed by Saakashvili's direct order. If found guilty, Saakashvili is facing imprisonment from five to eight years.
