Georgia and Armenia have discussed the development motor roads of international importance connecting the two countries, Georgia's Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry said Aug. 19.
Georgian First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Giorgi Amashukeli, Georgian Roads Department Head Vaja Panchulidze and his deputy Nugzar Gasviani met on Aug. 19 with the Armenian Deputy Transport and Communication Minister Artur Arakelyan.
The Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry of Georgia said the roads connecting the two countries will in the future ensure the transit function to the maximum extent possible.
