The working meetings of the members of the Georgian parliamentary delegation, headed by Speaker David Usupashvili are underway within the Latin America tour.
After leaving Paraguay, the delegation visited Argentina, where it held the first meeting with the Foreign Minister Hector Timerman.
The parties discussed the important issues for Georgia, bilateral relations and current processes in the region. Georgian parliamentarians also raised the issue of strengthening the diplomatic relations and the opening of the Georgian Embassy in Argentina. This was appreciated by the opposite side.
