Iranian, Pakistani and Afghan Foreign Ministers will hold a trilateral meeting in Islamabad Jan.16, Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said.
"The meeting will discuss Afghanistan's problem and the processes in the region," Mehmanparast said at a weekly press-conference today.
Mehmanparast said that the exact date of the next meeting between the presidents of three countries will be determined at a meeting in Islamabad.
"We don't believe that the conference will be in our favor," Mehmanparast said while speaking about Iran's participation in a conference on Afghanistan to be held in London in late 2010.
"We think that regional cooperation in the direction of solving Afghan problem should be a priority. This problem can be solved with the participation and cooperation of countries of the region," Mehmanparast said.
