A powerful explosion rocked Kandahar in southern Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing at least one person and injuring few others, police said.
"The blast occurred next to the office of Hajj Department, leaving one person dead and injured few others," a police officer told Xinhua, but declined to be identified.
He also said that an investigation is underway to find the exact figure of the casualties and those behind the blast.
