The Foreign Office in London confirmed Monday that two British passport holders were on board the Ethiopian jet which crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from Beirut, DPA reported.
"We can confirm that one British national and one dual national were on board," a spokeswoman said. No further details about the two people would be released until next of kin had been informed.
