A woman was killed on Sunday when a biplane crashed into spectators at an air show in southern Germany, dpa reported.
Around 20 people were injured in the accident, five of them seriously.
The biplane - a 1930s Tiger Moth - departed alongside others to take part in a joint formation, but veered to the right and ploughed into a crowd of spectators at the airshow, 25 kilometres north of Nuremberg.
Eye witnesses said the woman was caught in the propeller of the plane. The pilot was unharmed, police said.
"We were drinking coffee when suddenly tables and benches were flying through the air - and suddenly the plane's propeller was right in front of us," one eyewitness said.
"The pilot appeared to have lost control over his plane," an officer said.
In an unrelated accident at another Bavarian air show, another woman died at the weekend after she plummeted in a hang glider and landed on a parked plane.
