Nine Portuguese tourists were killed Wednesday when the bus they were travelling in overturned near the border of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on Morocco's northern coast, Portuguese and Moroccan government sources said, dpa reported.
Spanish media reports put the number of fatalities at 10. Fourteen of the 47 passengers were seriously injured.
The tourists were on a cruise ship which made a six-hour stopover in Ceuta on its way from Malaga to Lisbon.
They were taking a bus trip to the Moroccan coast when their Spanish driver lost control of the vehicle, because of either high speed or the rainy weather, Moroccan and Portuguese officials said
