A diplomatic solution in the dispute with Iran is possible only if Tehran renounces nuclear weapons, French President Francois Hollande said, dpa reported.
"We will never permit Iran to have nuclear weapons," Hollande told a joint press briefing with his Israeli Shimon Peres in Jerusalem.
"So we seek an agreement. We want an agreement. Because we think that negotiations, diplomacy is preferable to all other methods ... but that agreement - which can be reached - will not be possible unless Iran renounces nuclear weapons."
