With the future of the club from the capital still in doubt, one certainty in the Roma camp is the loyalty of Simone Perrotta, who has recently expressed his desire to remain with the Giallorossi for life, Goal.com reported.
Unfortunately, for the World Cup winning midfielder, there are not many signs of a forthcoming contract renewal and he may yet be left out to dry by the Lupi.
Speaking to Romanews, Perrotta's agent Giuseppe Bozzo highlighted the difficult position his client is facing.
"Simone has just surpassed 32 years and it was highly expected that a contract renewal would be put forward. Unfortunately, all the contracts that are set to expire in 2010 are still being left unresolved."
Despite the clubs unclear future, Perrotta's agent expressed the player's desire to remain in the capital.
"Simone wants nothing else but to stay with Roma. Whether that be until the end of his current deal or further down the line, I don't know, but either way his heart is giallorosso."
