France on Saturday accused the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) of conducting the latest missile test and warned the country to "refrain from any further provocation," said a French Foreign Ministry spokesman, according to Xinhua.
"France condemns the missile tests carried out by North Korea on Saturday July 4, which undermine regional security and stability and constitute a violation of (UN) Security Council resolutions 1718 and 1874," the spokesman said.
"It calls on North Korea to refrain from any further provocation and to implement without delay the Security Council resolutions," he said.
According to South Korean officials, DPRK tested seven missiles off its east coast on Saturday. Russia and China called on all sides to keep calm, while Britain and France condemned the missile test.
