The number of fatality of Indonesia's quake in West Sumatra has increased to 625 people and missing persons reached to 295, provincial Disaster Management Agency said here Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The agency reported that 744 people suffered from serious injury and 1,343 others got light injury.
The quake has collapsed 101,653 buildings and houses, and damaged 97,992 others, it said.
The 7.9-Richter Scale quake rocked West Sumatera province and nearby Jambi province last Wednesday.
The United Nations has predicted the number of fatalities could reach more than 1,000.
