Five workers were killed and another was slightly injured at a construction site in east China's Jiangsu Province on Tuesday after a scaffold collapsed, local police said, Xinhua reported.
The accident occurred at 5:10 a.m. in Jiawang District in Xuzhou City at the construction site of the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
