A Zimbabwe-registered cargo plane has crashed in China during take-off from Shanghai's main airport, leaving three American crew members dead, Press TV reported.
Four others were also wounded after the plane veered off the runway and burst into flames on Saturday.
The US embassy in China confirmed that one of the injured crew was also American. Other crew members were from Indonesia, Belgium and Zimbabwe.
Shanghai television said the tail of aircraft, which was en route to Kyrgyzstan's capital of Bishkek, struck the ground on take-off and broke apart.
More than 30 flights from the Shanghai airport were delayed following the crash, leaving about 4,000 travelers stranded in airport lounges, according to China's official Xinhua news agency.
