Lebanon has ruled out terrorism as a cause for the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines plane which plunged into the sea shortly after take-off from Beirut Monday International Airport, DPA reported.
"We have ruled out foul play," President Michel Suleiman told a press conference at the Defence Ministry.
"Investigation and the rescue mission is continuing," he said, speaking as rescue teams scoured the Mediterranean off the Lebanese coast.
