Two people have been killed in a light-engine aircraft crash in the Rostov region of southern Russia on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The SP-25 plane crashed at around 18:00 Moscow time (1400 GMT) when landing in the Neklinov district, the Itar-Tass news agency reported, citing regional center of the Emergency Situations Ministry.
One victim was the owner of the plane, while the other was commander of a special police unit of the Rostov region.
Preliminary investigations showed the crash was caused by a wind gush.
