The office of the Russian prosecutor general is preparing documents to officially request extradition of wanted businessman Konstantin Mrykhin who was detained in Spain, ITAR-TASS reported.
"At present documents are being prepared for competent bodies in Spain to decide on his extradition to Russia," the office said on Thursday.
Mrykhin is a co-owner of the Lame Horse caf in Perm where a fire killed 156 people in December 2009.
He was put on the international wanted list and may face from 4 to 10 years in jail "for providing services which did not comply with life and health safety requirements and which carelessly resulted in loss of life and grave harm to health."
