Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi - known as a fan of beautiful women - has bought four erotic bronze nudes as well as a print of US President Obama pictured as Superman during a trip to the Cote d'Azur, gallery spokesman Loic Deltour said, DPA reported.
"These are slightly daring, let's say sensual nudes", Deltour of the gallery Vladimir Rustonoff in Saint-Paul-Valence was quoted as saying by the newspaper Le Parisien.
The statuettes and the Obama lithograph which was created by US artist Mr Brainwash, had set the president back several ten thousand euros on Wednesday.
Berlusconi had been visiting the village together with his daughter amid tight security by both Italian and French officials, following December's attack on him, in which a man hit him with a small souvenir model of Milan Cathedral.
