North Korea's nuclear test plans and threats to attack the US are "needlessly provocative" and will "only increase Pyongyang's isolation," White House spokesman Jay Carney said Thursday, DPA reported.
He said the UN's newest set of sanctions sends a "strong message" of the international community's opposition to North Korea's provocations.
"We judge North Korea by its actions, and provocations like these are significant violations," Carney said. "And we act accordingly. We certainly haven't seen a noticeable change in behaviour."
