Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is suspected of committing the terrorist attack in Boston, had immigrated to Russia from Kyrgyzstan, Makhachkala Gymnazium where he received his primary education told RIA Novosti by phone.
"We had such a pupil. He took his first class here in 2001. He studied here for one year and then left for America," the interviewee said.
According to her, Tsarnaev is from a family of refugees from Kyrgyzstan.
On Friday, it was reported in the media that the terrorist attack was committed by Tsarnaev and his brother. One of them died of wounds he received during his arrest, and the second, Dzhokhar, managed to escape.
There is no official confirmation of the information about the involvement of the Tsarnaev brothers in the terrorist attacks.
