Armenian and French foreign ministers Edward Nalbandian and Laurent Fabius have recently met in Paris, news.am reported on March 14 citing the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The ministers discussed preparations for French President Francois Hollande's upcoming visit to Armenia in May 2014.

Edward Nalbandian stressed that there are more than 160 companies with French capital in Armenia.

The sides discussed Yerevan-Brussels relations amid the EU-Armenia declaration adopted during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.

The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement was also on the agenda of the meeting.
Nalbandian appreciated the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen and stressed the importance of joint efforts to resolve the issue peacefully.

Nalbandian reiterated Armenia's readiness to continue working together with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen, aimed at the conflict's settlement.

The sides also discussed issues of international and regional importance and in particular, the Ukrainian crisis and possible ways of its settlement. They also considered the negotiations over Iran's nuclear programme.
