U.S. President Barack Obama once again did not utter the word "genocide" during his traditional address with regard to the 1915 events in the Ottoman Empire, TRT Haber reported.

Armenia marks the so-called "Armenian genocide" each year on April 24.

Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that Turkey's predecessor the Ottoman Empire allegedly carried out genocide against the Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915.
