Armenia's State Revenue Committee has been reorganized and affiliated to the Finance Ministry, Armenia's ARKA news agency reported citing the country's presidency.

The corresponding decree was signed by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The former head of the State Revenue Committee (which includes tax and customs services), Gagik Khachatryan was appointed finance minister of the new government on April 26.

The country's State Committee for Architecture has been reorganized and affiliated to the Ministry of Urban Development in accordance with another presidential decree.

The committee head, former chief architect of Yerevan, Narek Sargsyan was previously appointed minister of urban development.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan appointed the parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the post of prime minister on April 13. Abrahamyan replaced Tigran Sargsyan in this post.

The new government must be formed within twenty days after the appointment of the Prime Minister, according to the country's constitution.
